Here's my Kyosho Assault -project.
I got it from local guy, who had bought it from a trash market. It seems originally from Sweden,
because it had a swedish sticker on top of the cockpit. He had had cleaned it up pretty well, I then continued.
Hence it was in a rather good condition, though the spur gear was damaged. I prepared a new one myself from a Traxxas part.
I also fixed the shocks, which even had still oils inside after 25 years! The plastic spring holders were broken.
Engine was stuck, but after cleaning it now seems to be allright, even the engine bearings are fine.
This was the car in the shape I got it.
After some work, fixing the shocks, cleaning the engine internally and preparing a new spur gear to replace the original that was broken.
